| Our Web Services Architecture and Security Systems |
| Our Architecture utilizes four tiers for maximum performance, greatest security, speed of deployment, flexibility for growth and information security. |
| Our User Interface Tier requires only a HTML browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape
Navigator with JavaScript and Cookies enabled. Additionally, our presentation is strictly business, using primarily text and only a few graphics to
best accommodate our clients in rural areas that access the Internet via an analog telephone line and a 56K modem. |
| Our Web Server Tier uses Windows Server 2003 using Internet Information Services 6.0 and the .NET
Framework 2.0 running in IBM servers. |
|
| Our Business Logic Tier is primarily coded in VB.NET, which interprets user inputs and applies a multitude of business rules and logic, including specialized agronomic rules and sound economic logic. |
| Our Database Tier is powered by a MS SQL 2005 relational database with data modeling taken to the third normal form. Our database of agricultural products and user records are properly indexed and
uses table triggers and compiled stored procedures for very fast responses, averaging less than one second recalculation times for most farms across the nation. |
| Our Security System go far beyond a perimeter firewall and includes integrated security measures throughout the architecture to protect user data from unauthorized access by others. |
